Every December, we celebrate Helen C. Peirce's birthday by coming together as a community to support the programs that make our school thrive.
Helen's Legacy
Helen C. Peirce, our school's namesake, was a Chicago pioneer who dedicated her life to helping others and making the arts accessible to all. Her friends described her as having "firmness of purpose, tempered with gentleness, unselfishness, helpfulness for all humanity, loyal to friends, and joy in service."
Her spirit of generosity lives on in our community today.
