DIRECTOR
-
The Friends of Peirce Board consists of dedicated representatives, elected by our own school community. We lead with purpose and reflection, focused on making a lasting impact on our students' lives at this vital Chicago public school.
-
Fundraising and Impact!
As a Board, we are active participants who intentionally plan, coordinate, and manage all fundraising initiatives and financial resources. This supports the core Friends of Peirce Mission of enriching the experience of every student.
Each year, the school administration shares key funding priorities with us, ensuring our collective action supports the greatest needs. Historically, our annual commitments total around $65,000, which is vital funding for everything from arts and enrichment to classroom resources.
-
We believe that collective impact comes from diverse contributions. If you’re a part of the Peirce community, you're eligible to become a Director! We are actively seeking passionate volunteers to help guide our mission.
-
If you are here—a parent, guardian, staff member, or neighbor of our Chicago public school—the answer is likely you! (See our FAQ for more details.)

How to Apply to the Board
Ready to serve with energy and agency? If you’re interested in being a Director and supporting Peirce fundraising efforts, we invite you to apply to the Board.
New Board members are chosen from a pool of applicants through a thoughtful nominating process at our Annual Meeting, which is held every June at the close of the fiscal year.
