Andersonville September Fundraiser - "Kegs for Kids"

Our fall fundraiser is going to be here before you know it (September 25) and we’re looking for volunteers to help in a few areas. This year, Michael Roper (Hopleaf proprietor) will be teaming up with Charlie’s Ale House, Metropolis Coffee and M Henry to create an amazing evening that will feature a flight of limited edition micro-brews, great food and live music.

Welcome to Friends of Peirce

Friends of Peirce is a newly formed 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to assisting the Helen C. Peirce School of International Studies maximize the potential of its students to achieve their dreams by experiencing a world class primary education within the Chicago Public School system. Friends of Peirce works in partnership with the Peirce Local School Council and provides parent-led fundraising capabilities.

Andersonville Midsommarfest 2010

A group of over 40 Peirce supporters volunteered to help the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce at Midsommarfest by working the Beer stand on Sunday evening of the Festival. The efforts earned over $1,500 for Peirce. Thank you to all for the hard work!!

Kickoff Event - March 2010

Peirce is embarking on a $150K fundraising campaign to meet its needs for investments in Technology, Science, Tutoring, Homework, and Athletics. In March 2010, we hosted a kickoff event to introduce a select group of local businesses and community leaders to the school and the campaign. Speakers included elected officials, local business owners, school administration, teachers and students.
