Friends of Peirce is a community of parents and friends who support an important resource for our neighborhood: the Helen C. Peirce School of International Studies. We invite you to join us in a new unique sponsorship opportunity we are launching to help children in our community and in Chicago. Background Information:
Friends of Peirce is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting the Helen C. Peirce School of International Studies maximize the potential of its students by providing a world class primary education within the Chicago Public School system. Peirce is a neighborhood school serving Pre-K through eighth grade students in the Edgewater and Andersonville communities. Over 1,000 students attend Peirce, with more than 55 percent of the families coming from low-income households. Our school depends on strong community partnerships and volunteers to help support its mission to provide a quality education to every student. In 2018, 1,040 students were able to participate in arts and academic partnerships, field trips and assemblies thanks to our community partners. If you are able to join us as a sponsor, your support will be acknowledged throughout our active community of over 600 families that spans many neighborhoods. Your sponsorship, and your partnership with Friends of Peirce will be communicated through a variety of avenues, as described below. Considering the unique nature of each sponsor, we are able to customize your sponsorship to your unique family and/or business needs. Friends of Peirce is a 501(c)(3) public charity with contributions tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law (FEIN 271876354). Your donation can be made by clicking on your chosen level of sponsorship above (on the buttons at the bottom of each sponsorship column) to pay with Paypal or credit/debit card (please note that a 2.9% PayPal fee will be added to all credit card transactions) or through check.
