20th Annual Move-a-Thon
Partnership Opportunities

On May 17th, 2019, the Helen C. Peirce School of International Studies will be having the 20th Annual Move-a-Thon! Move-a-Thon: A Day of Movement is a day focused on each student walking, jogging, running on the track for pledges they have gotten from their families and friends. New this year, students will participate in further movement based activities woven throughout the day which may include yoga, dancing, group games, circus skills and more!  Move-a-Thon has been one of the most important fundraising events for the school, as it raises money to fund much needed programs such as art and academic partnerships at each grade level, field trips, assemblies, technology, sports, the school garden and more. This 20th year, we have set the ambitious goal of netting $20,000 in funding for the school.

We cannot do it without you. We are looking for sponsors to help make the 20th Annual Move-a-thon a success!  Please consider becoming a Move-a-thon partner in one of the various ways:

Best Value: Friends of Peirce Annual Sponsorship

• Each sponsorship level lasts an entire calendar year and includes a Move-a-thon Ad in the booklet distributed to 1,000+ students, families and community members as well as promotion at our biggest parent fundraising event held in the fall: Harbor Night.
• Levels begin at just $250 and are considered the best value because they will include an entire year of support.  

Move-a-thon Booklet Advertiser

• Advertisements appear in a professionally printed Move-a-Thon booklet that is distributed to all Peirce families and staff
• Advertisers will be listed on the Friends of Peirce Facebook page and Friends of Peirce website.
• Advertisement sizes range from ¼ page size ($60) to prominent placements ($375).  Sign up here!

In-kind donor

• For those businesses that prefer making an in-kind donation at this time, we are grateful for donations of gift certificates to be used for future raffles. You can sign up to make an in-kind donation here.

Note that 100% of the proceeds from this event will be going to the Helen C. Peirce School of International Studies.  All contributions are tax deductible within the limits provided by law.
